Postdoc and MSc Positions in the Hurt.Group
Description:

We look for highly motivated colleagues interested in our ongoing projects. No specific knowledge is required, but a background or experience in cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, structural biology and a strong interest in nuclear organization and function, organelle biogenesis, intracellular transport, gene expression and yeast biology could be of benefit.

We offer a variety of attractive research projects that are related to our successful ongoing research (nuclear pore complex, mRNP and ribosome biogenesis/export). However, also several new projects that deal with thermophilic eukaryotic biology are currently developing.

We perform research at an inspiring and interdisciplinary department, the Heidelberg University Biochemistry Center (BZH), which is an integrative, highly successful and internationally reputed institution at the Heidelberg University Campus.

The Hurt.group participates in the Excellence Cluster Heidelberg University (CellNetworks), which offers excellent research opportunities for outstanding PhD and MD/PhD students from Germany and abroad.

If you are interested in joining the Hurt.group, please send an e-mail together with your CV and the necessary background information to Ed Hurt (ed.hurt [ aT ] bzh.uni-heidelberg.de)
