The Olympus IX81 inverted microscope is fully motorized and equipped with a TIRF illumination combiner for 4 laser lines (405, 488, 561, 640 nm).

A high sensitive EMCCD camera from Andor enables single-molecule super-resolution imaging techniques like dSTORM and PALM. The objective has a magnification of 150x and an NA of 1.45.

The setup has recently been updated with a custom built 532 nm laser widefield illumination. A cylindrical lens between tube lens and camera allows 3D dSTORM/PALM imaging.
