BMBF funds project of CellNetworks member Dr. Holger Erfle for the development of a technological platform

A new technological platform developed by researchers from BioQuant Center of Heidelberg University enables the transfer of proteins into living cells. The project’s goal is to test this method in pharmacological models at Heidelberg University and will be funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The respective project “MultiPro”, headed by CellNetworks member Dr. Holger Erfle will be carried out in the framework of the funding measure VIP+ by the BMBF and will be funded with 1.3 Mio € for three years. This program supports scientists to demonstrate the innovative potential of their research results already in the early stages of development and to transfer these results to potential applications.
