Dr. Kevin Holden, Head of Synthetic Biology, Synthego Corporation

DKFZ, TP3, Buchleither Seminar Room, Im Neuenheimer Feld 580

GPCF TechTalk Seminar Series

Chemically modified, synthetic sgRNA produced in Synthego’s novel RNA factory enables efficient editing in many cell lines and primary cell types, including those of therapeutic relevance such as T cells and stem cells. The consistent nature of synthetic sgRNAs allows for their application in high throughput, genome-wide screening and in the development of an automated platform for cell engineering. In order to support automated cell engineering efforts, Synthego has developed bioinformatic tools such as ICE, a useful CRISPR editing analysis tool that is free to use online.
